The AAC option for sure is not ideal but the independent idea is catastrophic toward the university. Thus, the AAC is the best option. Why would I want to pivot to an idea that would surely fail on a massive scale??? (Which I have already explained why) The only pivot that is legitimate is that we move to a vastly water downed Big12. In terms of a religious model, that can’t really be applied to a state school sitting in Florida at this point. Personally I will drop all of my support from the university if they went the “god” route.

We literally sit next to an unaffiliated up and coming religion swimming in money and packed with celebrity clout surely that’s way more valuable than having the osmonds and the Utah market. Also there is no actual reason that has been given that we are doomed to fail as an independent where as I can provide an endless list of evidence this current path is failing and is not demonstrating a successful path forward.

But the noble trips and neb have said it’s impossible to be independent and surely they are noble men. They hath said Pucs plan is ambitious and if this is so it is a grievous fault and grievously we will answer for it.

Army has a following once a year on December…that’s it.

Doesn’t Army have better viewership than many p5 programs and most if not all g5 programs?

I have heard that but there is no evidence.

For real?  Can we use a FOIA to get their TV households?

One more day than we get so that model is at least a step in the right direction, now let’s find a path to a second day until we are pissing so much excellence that they have to change the Gregorian calendar just for us to not have to weep because there were no more days left to conquer

Sorry man, not giving money to an institution that supports an invisible man who lives in the sky. In terms of proof, the issue at hand is financial bases and the evidence is found from those floundering programs not named BYU or ND.

When we win, the ucf game draws interest. Indeed, it is still a top five game a few years ago. Cincy will also be a good draw.

Independence would sink the Bulls football team and ruin any chance of other squads like WBB, tennis, soccer from accomplishing anything of significance.

And that would be different how? As for the other mentioned sports just make a few press releases saying we won some random championship every so often and no one is ever going to bother to fact check it or know any differently. Sports that exist simply because they are required by law really shouldn’t be driving forces in decisions as they are going to be losses in any conference.

Their game against WVU was in the top 10 viewed games last year.

Again, it has to pretty small due the CBSSports network reach.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
