Conference realignment "Rumors" "tweets" "etc"

Kind of interesting how no AAC athletic directors or presidents have been in the news about conference realignment. Nothing from the commissioner either. Everyone has obviously been told to go on silence. But Aresco will have to speak on media day as he usually gives an opening about the conference.

Why in the world would Penn State ever consider leaving the B1G? They make more there now than they would in the ACC and that is with their contract coming up for renewal. I never have gotten the sense that PSU was unhappy in the B1G.

They don’t think the Big10 is being aggressive enough, from what I read. They want to go where value is being added, and not where things are standing pat

Anyone know what the capacity for the lower bowl is? 42k? The ticketmaster site for USF shows how many seats are available per section if you expand section overview, adding those up it looks like there are 2547 remaining.

42k - 12k Gator allotment - 13k reserved for student section would mean we we're trying to sell 17k season tickets this year. That would mean we've sold roughly 14.5k season tickets this year. Does that sound right or do you think some of the Gator allotment is in the upper deck? 

Hopefully with the football locker rooms being shown off tomorrow inspires more people to pony up and get some tickets.

To add the AAC as an autonomy conference, you would likely need to have it approved by that same NCAA Division I board of directors. And for such an motion to pass, it would likely need the support of most, if not all the current autonomy conferences, which would be why Aresco sent the letter to each of those conferences members of the board of directors asking that the AAC be included as an autonomy conference.
