1902 pages??  See ya Jonsey(thought was the goodbye pages). Oh wait it's the Conf Realign Topic...Let's see 🤔 Oh yeah, I heard from someone I didnt know who got it from a very unreliable source that we may be getting the nod from the SEC??  Were not supposed to say anything so 🤫

Actually, there was an ESPN article the other day that was addressing a "logical realignment" scenario prompted by the current Virus scrambling. I think he may have needed an article so he came up with this idea. It was all based upon the past expansions that dont make sense from a geographic and competition standpoint. Of course he added the recruiting/money reasons behind past additions. Funny part was he had USF and UCF in the SEC East. Reigniting the Big East.  It was kinda dreamy but it did hit upon some logic here and there. It posed an interesting list of reasons for each team/conference. Something to read at the time.

The NCAA is essentially an organized criminal entity - huge profits being made off of the backs of modern day slaves with "education" being the alleged currency, limitations in labor movement and compensation, and overly restrictive rules meant to limit the athlete's individual rights.

And ESPN is the slave trader that looks to make money off of that process and is eager to "suggest" ways to optimize its resources. Conference realignment is just a way to coalesce the slaves in a way for their owners to maximize profits while offering their workforce limited incremental benefits.

Though it's 10 years old now, the New Plantation is a good read.

Sensationalism at its finest, at least he is not bloviating about CBG finishing no better than 7th place in conference.

I think you're joking.  Otherwise, you've described a number of alleged "organized criminal entities" including universities and colleges, not to mention all businesses dutifully following "diversity" to make this a "better world".  So many entities can be described that way when you don't account for free will.

You may want to press your issue in a separate thread on the correct topic and board.  I think there's a debate to be had.

In order to be a slave, one must be forced to do something they otherwise wouldn't want to do. College football players are not forced to play football.

Go on a recruiting trip to a major football school and then let me know if you think college football players are still slaves. I went on a recruiting trip to a DII school my Junior year of high school and one of the coaches handed a player $400 and told them to make sure I  had a good weekend. Modern college football players are the most coddled students there are. Free food, free housing, free clothing, free tutoring, and free tuition, and that's only the legal stuff that everyone knows about. All I know is I would gladly take 4 years of playing college football without pay if it meant I wouldn't be paying another 13 years of student loan payments.

I guess posts related to what is truly driving conference expansion are subject to being deleted. Brad Jung Un, can you elaborate on where the guardrails are?

He is in a comma, it is now Brad Yo Jong.

So is Brad’s sister now in charge? She is kind of hot but will kill you with hot coal if you don’t perform...and I don’t mean on the board.
