Funny, I don’t see anywhere in the article that says ESPN told the MWC that would get a bigger TV contract if Boise stayed.

And I didn’t take you for one of the people who just makes an argument for funsies.

But I’ll concede it’s entirely possible that ESPN didn’t tell Boise or the MWC the terms of the proposed new deal until after Boise came back.

Not downplaying the importance of the TV contact $ at all. I just don't think the networks use the G5 teams as chess pieces like they do with the P5. But that being said, your point about why Navy joined the AAC could be more in play this contract. I just wish that one of the networks (although I think we will have multiple contacts this go around including streaming) would say: add Boise, add BYU, etc. and each team will get more money than they are currently getting (putting us at $7-8 mil per team). I just don't know if the networks really care or not (and thus us G5 teams as filler...like rodeo, WNBA, boxing, etc.)

Absolutely. I'm just throwing it out there if you're looking for something a little off the beaten path, which Stranger Things was when I made my original post, thought it certainly isn't anymore. Altered Carbon is legit if you're a sci-fi person. If you're not into Blade Runner-esque shows and movies, it will do nothing for you. If you dig that genre, it's pretty **** good.
