I just read that SMU is pouring $150 million into their facilities to try to impress the BIG12

FWIW, that article is a year old.

I could never understand why the Big 12 would want to add any more Texas schools.

The ACC, obviously, doesn't seem to be interested in adding any more Florida schools.

I guess it is good for the AAC to have SMU put all that money into their athletic facilities, but I don't think it will get them into the Big 12.

Yes they did. I don’t think there was ever any intention to add teams.

ONLY if, USF is one of the expansion schools.

Otherwise, we'd be left behind in an even weaker conference.

USF needs to actively promote their athletics program; and keep our attendance numbers high...

 

Increasing viewership; and investing in the program is really the only way
