Apparently, adding a school to the conference that brings dollars is a priority of the AAC. Basically, we're getting WSU basketball with no football to add to Navy football with no basketball and other sports. Seems like a perfect compliment. To say Navy sucks at every sport but football doesn't seem fair to schools who suck and are lumped in with how bad Navy is at EVERYTHING other than football. If you told me we'd be adding a school that is a solid top 25 basketball team with a history of going deep in the tourney and a football team that has recently been a fixture in and out of the edge of the top 25, I'd take it in a heartbeat. That's what we're getting with the WSU/Navy hybrid.

Never really liked the idea of bringing in a team because of 1-2 seasons' worth of hot performance, but hopefully they sustain. Who knows though, if we can sustain our football performance and get some semblance of credibility in our MBB program in the next couple of seasons, maybe we can ride the hot wagon.

1 or 2? They've made the tourney the last 6 years, 2 sweet 16s, and a Final Four.
