I sure hope so. I hate that ESPN can do pretty much whatever they want

I don't see Netflix making deals with any G5 conferences; unless we're making documentaries (a la ESPN 30 for 30).

Probably a very valid point. ESPN/Disney and Fox will be involved with the social media companies or other online entities that emerge as the leaders in sports broadcasting.

Just a couple of points regarding the way we handled the entire process. 

First, I think the way we handled things quietly, mostly behind the scenes and professionally leaves us with no egg on our face. This is a testament to Harlan and Genshaft's professionalism and lack of desparation.

I also think that since we didn't go all out financially like Cincinnati and especially Houston did, we can stay competitive for the next several years without being completely financially strapped. 

I believe Houston is going to have a rough time going forward. The made massive investments in a Big 12 or bust push for inclusion. 

I think Cincy did too with upgarde of the stadium and a few other things I heard. 

Although we upgraded facilities, we did it responsibly and we should be in pretty good shape.
