When it comes out Monday that ESPN and fox paid big12 NOT to expand, usf needs to do some soul searching

we either need to think outside the box or shrink the fb budget

buying into arresco's "big6" violation is asinine and waiting for the b5 to share is naive

 No and no to shrinking the budget. The program is finally rising again. 

Unless you want to win 9 games and cancel the program like USF on the west coast.

So let's look at it on a personal leve. You are making $50K a year, driving a 10 year old Honda then someone offers you a $1 mil a year plus a brand new Ferrari, but you would consider not accepting because it is possible in 20 years someone may offer $5 mil and a Lamborghini?

There is a reason the schools have been positioning themselves and going all out.

You take the higher paying job, you can always go back to the lowering paying job.  However the buyout money with 4 teams leaving with an early exit could be a financial windfall for UCONN in the above scenario.

Pretty sure the Pres and AD at USF don't think that is a possibility.
