This is what I'm hoping for, that October brings a decision to NOT expand, and immediately TX and OK jump to the P12 for next season. That puts us officially in 4x16 transition mode, and the B12 and AAC teams will individually compete for the last 8 slots. USF should be high on the list for one of them.

In any event, the move from P5+G5 to full-on 4x16 will end the merry-go-round. We'll either be in the P64 or we won't, but the anguish of not knowing will be over forever.

I dont get why UCF being a "competitor down the road" is enough to knock us behind them. The best this writer could come up with in favor of them is recruiting in florida.. which we offer as well ? Doesn't make sense, especially after he praised our presentation.

Dodd has a love affair with UCF.  Not sure why.  Most everyone else has USF higher than UCF at this point.

Honestly I don't think he gave it much thought after the first three. Probably gets paid by the word.

The Big XII will add 4 teams (USF, UCF, Houston and Cincinnati) or none. That is my prognostication.
