Yeah... that also was not directed at TrippleB... I know it's not true in his case.  I was kinda telling him what I see... not that hit was directed at him though.  It's weird... you lose so much context in text.

WTF how? When we were granted I remember them being in the dust. Did I miss something?

Edit: Last year UCF only hit 2 of the 12 metrics. This year it hit 6 of them. We hit 9, I believe. They need to make it a little more difficult to get in, why should they get on even level with someone who has 50% more than them (9 is 50% more than 6)? We should be in with UF and FSU then in preeminent status (12 is < 50% of 9).

I thought it was required that you hit 9 to be considered "Emerging Preeminent".   As usual, the standard is lowered for UCiF.

BTW, where do you see they hit 6 of the 12?

Here's my BOLD prediction.

B12 will expand by 4. They are seeing the demise of the conference right about now. 2 strong teams and when they aren't strong or will leave in the future, the B12 is toast (Texas & Oklahoma, and I'm referencing the ESPN article).

Big 12 officials two weeks ago, according to the ESPN report. However, those teams did not get a clear indication on the conference's plans going forward.

"Nobody agrees on the teams right now," a Big 12 official told ESPN.

Eight of the current 10 Big 12 schools would have to vote "yes" for a team to be chosen for expansion. Oklahoma president and board member David Boren added to the confusion with comments he made last week.

"I would just caution you and say, I would not take expansion as a given," Boren told reporters. "I'm not saying there won't be expansion. But I'm not saying it can be automatically assumed that there will be expansion."
