I don't want us to be in the Big 12 anyways, other than as a way to increase revenue and SOS. We would be much more at home in the ACC, not that it would happen.

Or access bowl, which isn't much of a reach since we are pretty much everybody's favorite for the AAC East, and the AAC champ has a pretty good chance to make one of the NY day bowls.

Big 12 expanding to 4 teams will likely result and Texas and Oklahoma leaving and then possibly 2 more additions. This will "bode well" for all the schools currently debating the "life raft" but my gut says the league will only fall in position. 

Joining the Big12 will only be a short term financial band aid. 

I prefer that this talk somehow enables the AAC to negotiate better TV money in order to keep the American together as it is now, or The teams leaving for the BIG12 prompt the ACC to also expand and lock up the Florida market. Maybe it is indeed in FSU and Miami's interest to keep another P5 conference from coming in and competing for recruits, but what do I know. Better to add 2 competitors than 12 or 14 right?
