Not buying that the entire Cincy delegation left with no explanation. Even if they got the Big 12 invite, there's no reason to leave.

That would be stupid if it was for realignment. There is a 27 month waiting period. Even if they negotiate an early bolt they still have to play this season.

Now THIS is a man I can trust for expansion news.

He certainly knows expansion when he sees it.

History repeats itself. Don't let the fact that he's a Mr. Rogers lookalike fool you. He's not exactly known for class. Tuberville left Texas Tech in the middle of a recruit dinner to take the Cincy job. This was the same year he ripped off an assistant's headset while throwing a tantrum.

He couldn't hack it his first go-round in the Big 12 now he's hoping to crawl back.

Or maybe he's just trying to get away from USF. Poor Tubs can't catch a break. We ran him out of the SEC after beating him at Auburn, then when he ends up in the AAC he goes 1-2 against us.

Tuberville having no class doesn't necessarily mean the entire Cincy athletic department is without it.

He only left because Frodo was in trouble. He had to get back to the Shire. When Mordor marches on your homeland you need every solider you can muster.

So has Rob Higgins weighted in on the expansion? Anyone think he could help our cause?

With our chances, we could probably use Monsignor Higgins more ....

I prefer to stay away from the ecclesiastical stuff. Rob seems to know how to create/close a deal. He's an alum and has been money for the Tampa sports scene, so maybe he can help give us a boost.

Cincy starts camp today. That's why they left.

That being said, I think they're in if the Big 12 expands

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
