The Big 12 is kind of in the same boat with Texas playing the role of the basketball schools.

The big East should be a cautionary tale for the Big 12 schools like Iowa State, KSU etc.

They and the B1G are pretty much the junior members in the P5 IMO. They're like the privileged little brothers in the rich establishment that struggle to prove to mom & dad that they deserve an equal share of the inheritance. So as great as it would be to actually get in, I'd really feel strongly this would be the BE, part deux...with the exception that they won't consider us a full member of their dysfunctional family for a number of years.

Still, yeah, I'd do my share of celebrating.

Would love to see USF and Tulane added to Big 12 if for no other reason than occasional New Orleans area road trip adventures.  Louisiana has to have the best roadhouses anywhere.  Years ago while on a hunting trip we ended up at 3 roadhouses at a crossroad somewhere between Houma and Thibodaux that kinda shared one big parking lot/field and we bounced all night between the 3 joints just as did the locals....I don't think there are any more fun loving and hard partying folks anywhere than out in the Cajun part of Louisiana....we woke up the next morning in one of the roadhouses and were served breakfast that included grits that had bologna sprinkled in them...first time I ever had grits with bologna in 'em.
