I agree Gismo.  Talking heads and coaches' polls don't seem to undermine my humble opinion on this.  That said, there may be other factors at play, but trying to look at this objectively, the Florida schools should be included if they go to 14.  Cincy, then also a wildcard (BYU, UH, or UCONN, in that order of preference).

I just don't see how Memphis gets in.  Could be wrong, but it seems like a tougher case to make.

Objectively, I think Cincy has the best argument.  After that, it's USF/UCF.  TV market, academics and current state of athletic programs favor USF by a comfortable margin.

^ I agree that's the order.  Cincy first, then USF/UCF, then the others listed.  I addressed Florida schools first but didn't mean to suggest they've got a better case than Cincy.

If I'm Cincy, I'm feeling pretty good right now.  If I'm UCONN, I'm... nervous.  UH has to overcome other Texas schools already in conference although that dynamic didn't stop BXII from adding TCU, a much smaller school, with a lot more success but in a much smaller market.  Why didn't BXII take UH last go-round?
