This expansion judging from his statement is going to be about long term worth to the conference. I think we could see USF, UCF, Houston, and Memphis. All major markets that can support a Big Fanase in ALL sports. All markets where the money sports Football, Basketball, and Baseball(in some places) can be highly successful.  You don't get much more Long term worth then adding those four or two of the four.

I honestly think it ends up being four and a forced GORish type contract signed.

One thing he didn't mention was geography, I could see Uconn, Cincy, USF and UCF.  4 Schools and you lock up more of the east coast time slot which is the biggest money maker for viewership.  Someone in a big office in a nice suit is going to run some numbers and pass it to Bowlsby and it should point in this favor, just like the Big East decision making.

This is happening fast.  What USF does this year will not decide whether we get in.  Decisions will already be made by then.

14-team Big 12 is on the table. BYU, Memphis, UCF, USF, Colorado State, Houston, UConn, Boise State, others

They take both Florida schools, or neither. I don't think neither is an option for the B12.

Yep, it's out of the hands of the teams and fans at this point. USF Athletics needs to head to Defcon One in regards to marketing .... if it is happening now

I agree. Even if I'm from the outside looking in, I'd go with the Florida schools. Huge schools in a football state with track records of possible upside for each school's football program. Anything else and it's a gamble for the B12.

In my view, it is all a gamble. The B12 will be lucky to survive.
