So this guy says Memphis should be added because they're geographically close to B12, they have a respectable bball team, and they can hang 56 points in a half on the worst team in the league. UCiF should be added because "they're on the rise", in spite of a dramatic fall after the Bortles years. And USF should be added because they were #2 over 7 years ago and are UCiF's rival. Got it...

I like the conclusion by the way, I just don't like the lackluster rationale.

I thought ucif won the conference title the year after Bortles left?

They tied with Memphis and Cincinnati in 2014 and didn't play either of them.

That's pretty "horseshoe-up-the-ass" scheduling when you have don't have enough teams for a championship game, and you tie for the conference title without playing the other teams you tied with.

Just wait till the big12 schedule has the two teams that they'll put in their championship game playing each other late in the season. Everybody knows that if you're going to lose, you want to lose early, but, what if two teams are playing each other late and undefeated. Team A is favored and gets crushed by team B. They still end up in the championship game. team B gets crushed and now you have two, or more, one-loss teams...
