It's not a misconception. I wasn't talking about tier 3 rights. Only what each conf distributes. I understand completely. The AAC distributes 6-7 million (not 2-3 like you hear some uninformed posters say)  The big 12 distributes 30m. These are before tier 3 rights, which add more money to Texas and others. 

The big 12 doesn't distribute tier 3 rights. Those are negotiated by individual schools. 

When you hear AAC distributes 2 m it's wrong. This is only the tv portion of revenue.

And by the way only a few schools get 5-7 m in tier 3 rights. Not all do. Think Iowa St gets 5-7m. No.

I meant all sources that the big 12 distributes. I was talking about conference distributions not other sources of income. 

We're on the same page just talking about different aspects of revenue.
