This reminds me of a movie I watched last night. 

It was called 'regression'

You see, there was some weird stuff going down in this small town, and a local cop was on the case... he connected the dots and was waiting on his last piece of evidence, until he realized all the dots were delusions, and the whole situation was a result of mass hysteria and false memories. Memphis' hopes of getting into the big 12 are also delusions.

Lets just say Memhis gets in...can you imagine that giant pile of crap that would begin playing football?  Don't you think the powers that be have thought of this?  Sounds great!  Lets get some Memphis football in the Big 12...talk about the WOW factor!!!...sorry, this just isn't happening...

Yes it total delusion that Memphis higher ups would pump false hope to guys that write our checks like FedEX CEO Fred Smith and other big money players (Alan Graff and Bill Laurier)  for us. Why in the hell would you lie to those guys. Use your brain on that one. You don't burn bridges with  people in that kind of position. This isn't something put together at the last minute. Its been a process for 18 months.
