Yeah, I can handle it. I said earlier if I did not believe what I was told I would not have put myself out there like that. But, what can you do? . I fall on my sword and move on. However, I still believe we are going to hear something…and soon.

I'd rather not have my hopes up, and then be surprised by an announcement that has surpassed all my expectations.  Kind of like when Will W. dropped the stadium bomb out of nowhere at the IPF groundbreaking...totally unexpected--almost to the point where I thought there were administrative people thinking "wtf is this guy promising?"  Reminded me of a sales guy at work promising a customer that we'd deliver something we haven't even invented yet...so we get forced into building it with an over-aggressive deadline.  You wonder if we'd have landed on the moon in 1969 if Kennedy hadn't publicly committed to it in a speech.

When I have been to a Rutgers or UGA or Wisconsin games on campus a lot of the people there don't care about the actual football game. It's a community, it's family and friends. It's a party. Oh by the way, there is a football game too. 

Was just at a Rutgers game the other day and the section I was in had dozens of late 20's/early 30's former alumni with all kinds of babies. I counted at least 10 kids ages 0-3. Sure they mostly all left by halftime but you get this is just what they do. This was their family. 

You cannot reproduce that environment in a massive stadium far from campus. 

So there are a lot of families with kids living on campus after they graduate?

There was a discount for people that attended.  For those of us who were members but didn't go to school at USF there was no football discount.
