Has USF ever had a tougher schedule start a season? Serious question.

 I just wanted to see improvement in the team.

Compared to Nc State game we do look better on offense atleast.  Defense is in dire need of ejecting like 90% of our d line thru the portal.

We all want USF to play well and be competitive (and win)-- the problem is that we are talking about it as if any of us have even the smallest amount of any sort of control or influence to making any of that happening.

I can't recall one. Played 3 teams that could end up legitimately in the top 25. Crazy hard and unfortunate given our current state.

Many of the players are dong their best but they are simply not very good. Recruiting has to really pick up. I am not a fan of the portal but we got to hit it harder this offseason. Hopefully the IPF will get us some better recruits.

With NCSU beating Clemson today that's 3 top 25 teams in 4 weeks. We used to BE a top 25 team, not get blown out 45 to 0 by them, so that sucks. But to answer your question, I'd bet a good chunk of change this is toughest opening 4 games ever.

  Nc State, UF and BYU is one of the hardest OOC schedules probably.  Very tough start of the season.
