Curious as to whether or not FAU is one of the few teams brought into the AAC.

Man this has the potential to be deflating.

If they do is most likely because they know we are leaving.

Trip, why do you think it’s not a pain for students to get to RJS?  It ALWAYS has been a problem.  When you’re ranked in the top10 it’s not “as big” of a problem, but when you’re 5-7 students aren’t going through the hassle.  If you could just walk down the street it would be a totally different deal.

I do get that and even though other schools get their students to off campus sites, I have said that the greatest benefit of an ocs would be the students and the long term good of the program. I'm still holding, though, that we could have/can get back to where we were by playing in RayJay but the on field woes have set us back ......... and then there's the anemic donor level that has to be overcome. Hell, maybe the answer to the weak donor level is in an ocs and maybe weatherford can be a catalyst going forward but I still don't think an ocs is a magical key to a P5 going forward anymore than I think it was a deterrent this time around.

Supply and demand my friend. You want your supply to be a little below demand to keep your demand up. Typically there would be a study on season tickets sold and student attendance and balance that with typical single game ticket purchases. This will help balance out down years. I know Michigan State has a waiting list for student tickets and season tickets, and that was during the rough years in early 00’s.

With 20/20 hindsight that looks awesome but seriously, a growth plan that chooses to shut out over 25% of their paying customers ...... this defense of an ocs against basic common sense is getting kind of nuts.
