Didn’t say no donor base and there has been a lot of money raised and put to good use ……..except for the payments to coaches to not coach here.

You think some of that donor base was grown from the football success early on?

Now imagine if we had built a stadium on campus during the high attendance years, with alumni, students and Tampa area kids packing it in to watch South Florida football play the likes of Miami, Louisville, West Virginia. It doesn’t take much imagination to envision our future changing for the better with recruiting, further donations and excitement about the program. If only we had someone who went down that road to compare with? it makes me sick to have to reference them, but if we had done this, UCF wouldn’t be ahead of us right now. That’s why you don’t “rent” a home when you can own a house yourself. That’s why you don't get comfortable and complacent; because the guy who wants what you have, isn’t going to stop trying to get it. It’s that simple. There’s a reason Alabama, Clemson, and Oregon are STILL upgrading their facilities. It’s that simple.
