I’ve been wanting a 40k seat stadium for years. We need game day on campus to engage students and build a fan base of students and alumni. Being off campus football is ignored by many students.

It doesn’t need to be huge to engage students.

USF missed the boat. The ship has sailed. Building materials now are double-triple what they were a few years ago. Should have locked in a price years ago.

Spent Thursday night in an off campus stadium with a ****load of engaged students. We had to expand our student section because of engaged students back when we were at the big boys' table and winning.

Will an ocs be more convenient for current students, absolutely and probably pay some long term dividends but as some magic elixir for our current situation, I just don't see it. Don't see why where we play would be that key for potential conference homes. Maybe there's some info from them out there that somehow supports this.

It certainly is not a cure all.  We have to be able to play football. You and I agree on that much. But just because we might fill up a rental stadium doesn’t mean that should suffice as a long term home.

100%. Create a 'Campus Strip'/University Blvd feel right by the OCS. somewhere for the pregame, postgame, Team Stores and some campus life. Campus is really missing that right now. Severely

If the honest to God truth is that there just isn’t an appetite by the community, the alumni, the students and the administration for big time college football then just make the move.

John Allen was against a good time and restaurants and bars and anything loud.

May God grant rest to the dead, but he ain’t here no more. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Times have-a changed (but so has the price of steel).

Cannot wait to open up John’s Bar right across the street from Vinik Stadium at Leavitt Field in the near future.

And that's all I'm really saying. Pretty sure that everyone wants one but it's not an immediate need and never has been. The on the field woes need to be straightened out and we need whatever tools we can to do that ...
