McClain took two hard hits in the last game. A dual threat QB is always at risk of an injury. Why is it an issue to get the 2nd string QBs more reps?

It was McClain’s first start and he needed as many reps as possible.

Im sorry, did he not get playing time against NC State and Florida? He had played a lot of minutes in 3 games already. Once again, what if he gets injured? He took two hard hits against FAMU in which he was slow to get up from. We need to get deeper and the FAMU game was the safest game to get Marsh as well as some other younger players some on field experience.

Again I am confused. Was the game not over at the end of the 3rd? I thought it was....

It was... but we diasgree on McClain/starter reps vs using the first 4 games a preseason and having a better idea of our depth going into conference play. 🤷‍♂️

As has been pointed out, Marsh handed the ball off 12 out of 15 plays.  Sounds like we should have the hand off down by now.

They were back within 2 scores roughly half way through the 4th

they were down 2 scores with 3 minutes left and the ball on their own 5 yard line the next time they touched the ball.

the game was never in doubt
