He was also a head coach at Presbyterian  college for a few years before becoming an assistant at usc.

It's always good to be wanted.

It says he is still leaning towards USF. Why would he tie his destiny to a retread HC in Orlando, when he could get in on that new hotness in Tampa? I feel like they contacted him, and this is a non-story being blown up to further the rivalry.

I hope he comes to USF, and we win by one from a TE touchdown in the waning seconds.

Why?  Because he is being offered an OC position and probably more $$$$ and I'll ignore which school has shown more ability to win games recently

If he has an executed contract the only duty he owes us is whatever the outs clause spells out and if he doesn’t have an executed contract he owes us absolutely nothing. The right thing to do is to take whatever offer you believe for whatever reason is in your best interest as we would do the same thing if a better option came along the day after he signed (pretending we had silly things like money that could make that possible).

They have a working relationship and he is offering a better position, had he already started I would agree it’s a ***** move but since we decided to let him ride out his higher contract  instead of actually buying him out and getting him under contract we were acting kind of ***** like and when you do business like that you have to expect things like this will in fact happen. If he is of value offer him the money and the position fire the 12 year old kid and if he isn’t and he was just the 10th most important coach on your staff than who cares?
