Just gotta readjust the perspective. For me, it comes down to watching individual growth and being super jacked IF it all works on the scoreboard. I liked Brutcher, Ruiz, Mitchell, and Rivera. It didn’t all look good but there were flashes. Pitching is what it is.

I'm not sure that "competitive" is even the peak ... we may be looking at more "not quite embarrassing"

It's Jaziak and pray for rain at this point.  He needs to start on Saturday to give us a shot at some W's unless we are planning on winning 1-0 on Friday night every week.    I liked Brutcher and Ruiz.  Not sure why Lane isn't in the lineup every game.  Not a fan of Mitchell at the plate.   Didn't get to see Rivera.    There's a lot of holes in the offense to fill before we truly get to "competitive".    I've defended Mohl or at least said give him some time but he appears to really struggle at recruiting bats or they appear to forget how to hit when they get to USF

Lane will hopefully find a way in the lineup even if it is as the DH. Cantu looked good too. I’m thinking Mitchell will give up a spot for Cantu unless he is that much better defensively than Eaton. 
 

Cantu may play first as well.

Is it too early to start a firemohlcampagine? He’s clearly not recruiting.

That campaign already started for some.   I've been a give the benefit of the doubt and some time guy, but it is wearing kind of thin
