I think you have to work JB in there as well. He’s our only real 3-pt threat and is needed to stretch the D to open up the driving lanes and the interior.

On every third night, yes he is a threat. I think Yetna and possibly Anderson are more consistent, though I would like to see a bigger sample size of Anderson’s outside shot. Plus having Yetna and/or Anderson outside of the paint moves the bigger bodies out with them.

As always we really need a consistent 3pt threat.  It blocks up so much inside for the rest of the guys.  Thought Durr played pretty well considering

To me it just seems that on the offense they have no system

what are they trying to do get the ball inside shoot a three or mid range jumper pick and roll I have no idea. just seems like they pass the ball around the perimeter  until the time clock is  under 10 seconds and then they take a panic shot

also it’s uncanny how they can’t finish around the rim ever

I agree. JB is extremely inconsistent. He misses a lot of wide open 3s.

We miss a lot of wide open shots from everywhere on the court. Including wide open lay ups.

we desperately  need scorers

The big test comes in conference play when the competition will not be at the level of the last two games (aside from Cincy and Houston).

Our offense is putrid and our defense is meh. That's a bad combination.  Looks like a long year coming

Are these things that can be improved with coaching? is our talent level also an issue because i see some of our guys have good potential but that lack of a floor general on offense makes them seem like they are improvising instead of a coordinated attack.

We lost to two teams...one who could win the AAC if they were in it and another who will probably be dancing. Just relax, let’s see how this plays out with conference games.

It isn't like we've never seen good basketball before. there are some obvious issues

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
