You (still in) Tampa Bay Area sports fans, always singing the blues.  I leave town and you immediately get the Lightning, the Rays and (so far) the Bucs winning this year.  What do you want, rubber biscuit?

I'm guessing the ones singing the blues the loudest aren't Tampa Bay area sports fans ........ and what the hell was a rubber biscuit anyway?

Since I am not going to reject your premise, I would argue that the professional teams were either good already or at least on the cusp of being good. You were only required to move a few miles away.   Now for USF football, I would imagine it would require you to move to somewhere in the South Pacific.

Agreed...we are the team to screw it up.

I kind of meant that I would prefer every other Tampa team lost every game and left town but alas the only Tampa team I care about is the one trying to follow that path.

Tampa sports was lost the day that those Pharisees in USF Administrator turned their back on CJL.

It wasn't a hit, it was a motivational technique.

I hope you are right but nothing so far shows he is capable of doing that.  CJL loved the program and built it from scratch, if you don’t understand the affection for him than I am not sure you were much of a fan in the earlier years and enough with the choke or hit, he was high energy trying to get the most out of these young men, it was an effective approach until we became a nation of pussys, thanks California .

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
