It was an interesting read and too often I discount these kids due to nepotism and a life of privilege but his story is a little different IMO.  His high school years as a fat kid in South Bend while his dad was flailing at ND had to have been absolutely brutal.  I know he has a sister with special needs which provides challenges as well.  He persevered, overcame the adversity and here he is, hope he finds success.  On a side note I always disliked his Dad for that one comment when he took the ND job about how his team will “ have a decided schematic advantage over the competition”, he ate those words.
