That 2019 BYU game, we only had four scoring drives, all TDs. What a difference finishing good drives with TDs makes.  Unless it's a one score game field goals won't help us much this year. We need 7 when we can get something.

I think that this season will be about what team can over come the hurdles better than others.  Navy has had next to no practices.  They will get better.   This is a marathon not a sprint.   Teams will face injury and Covid challenges this year.   Sit back enjoy.

The announcer said during the game that Navy had no contact drills in practice. Niumatalolo said that with zero live reps he expected to see his team play that way. It was more important to keep his kids safe.

That was a ridiculous decision?  I learned the best way to learn how to tackle is by tackling someone.  That is like getting ready to play a basketball game and practicing without hoops and then being surprised they only shoot 15 percent from the field.  He was worried about their health?? Those are future jarhead officers and they prepared for the game by no contact, this is embarrassing for the Naval Academy, the armed forces and the entire freakin country.  I am flying my flag at half mast in sorrow over how soft this country has become, I will now get off my soapbox.
