Interestingly, both of your BOT definitions could actually relate to the Free Trade(not really free$$) aspect of the stated southern connotation by Mr. FB. Wow, brings to mind the days of old at Club Mary where a young man could visually ponder the mysteries of life.                                              And 🏈 too...
