I think there might have been a problem with Cristobal and the AD, not sure. Cristobal is the guy I wanted here when Taggart left.

Me too, but back then he was just the coach of FIU so doubt that he was given a serious look.  Does anyone know whether he was contacted then?

Easy to Monday morning quarterback that decision, it is not like they had a Cristobal to see into the future.

Correct. It was more of a clash with AD than anything

That was the worst coaching decision in the history of college football. Everyone said it at the time and it still holds true today.

CWT at FSU is close second, the fan base at FIU celebrated a Conf USA title in 2010 and wanted more and thought Ron Turner could bring them across the finish line.  Thinking about it now I agree with you NEB.

You are correct too. CWT at FSU will go down as a really bad one. Tough to feel sorry for these guys though. The money in Willie’s situation was rediculous.
