I'm sure that the local papers and the draft websites will have some info on USF pro day as soon as the results are known like last year.

I'm more interested to see what they say about JR Reed, since he didn't go to the combine. He sure does look cut in the picture Dave took the other day.

Here is one recent draft writeup on JR:

32  J.R. Reed  Safety  South Florida  

Year: Sr  Height: 5-11  Weight: 200  40: 4.52  Hometown: Tampa, FL  

Positives: J.R. is a tremendous athlete. Good ball hawk skills. Creates turnovers. Gets to the ball and gets his hands on the ball. Has decent speed. Flows to the ball nicely. Can tackle and is solid in coverage. Hits well and has good bulk to him. Reacts well. Recovers and reads well.

Negatives: Smaller divisional school. Would be nice if he was an inch taller. Still a bit rough around the edges. Could work on technique.

Bottom Line: J.R.'s stock has been rising. He once was not even on many peoples draft radar; now you could see him go early day two. Expect him to go anywhere in the middle rounds of the draft. He is on the rise.

Thanx Howie ... AGAIN !

I agree about J.R. when they talk to the guy and see what he can DO ... watch more film and realize he's a QB in the Defensive backsfield, they will love him.

He can immediately contribute on Special Teams: coverage(he'll take your head off) and returning as we saw consistantly on KO's last season. This guy has SPEED !

The only negative is his height, but he plays well above a normal individual with the will to WIN !!
