I was flat out WRONG!!!!

What I was referring to, still seems very unlikely to have happened, but nonetheless, it did.

In the first three games the Bulls not only won the coin toss, but they deferred until the second half.

I can understand that against the first three opponents, but I felt it a sure bet that:

a)  the odds were against winning a fourth straight coin toss, and

 if we did win, there is no way we were going to give the Birds the ball first.

It is clear I'll never have the cojones displayed by our coaching staff on Saturday night.

Gave them the ball and then stuffed 'em.  Brave move that paid off.

I don't think there are many other teams that would hand the ball to one of the nation's high-powered offenses.  Our strategy worked, but I never would have done it myself...  

I'll go back to not coaching football now...   ;D
