4 bus loads of UL students

According to a post at Cardinal Empire:

"UofL is taking FOUR student buses down to Tampa for the game this weekend. I would expect a LARGE contingent of Cardinal fans in Raymond James Saturday."

That's pretty good for such a long haul...I hope we can get that many across the state to Miami.  We probably could double that with an upset over Louisville (cheap segue back to original topic).

This Saturday is shaping up to be another well attended event, UL traveled pretty well to hoops at the Sun Dome and, as I recall, pretty well to RJS in 2003.

OOPS, I thought the line "4 bus load of UL students" was the intro to a joke.  Its easy to get students to come to Florida for a game with the sun, beach, and girls.

I guess...but still, that is a long ride in a bus.  Then again, I drove to every away game in the 1997 season, so I guess when properly incented, it's not that long.

So any way, these four bus loads of UL students, a priest, a rabbi and a blind dog pull into Raymond James Stadium and see trash strewn all over the lots....

I actually was going to do that trip but I had something come up. It was only $89 for students and it leaves friday morning and returns sunday. Wasnt a bad deal. They did a basketball trip like that for the DePaul game last year and took 6 buses.
