I think it's also relevant because they're on our schedule next year.

Unless they hire another coach running the triple option, GT has a major rebuild ahead of them.

Well, Sterlin Gilbert might be able to use his playbook with those players... Although it would be more of a single option.

Some names from the GT board.  Chuckles is mentioned once.

Talking to some GT fans now.  They are excited for anything that isn't triple option.  I am sure they would love the veer and poop 💩 offense.

A chance to go back closer to home and be a head coach again? Likely for a bit of a raise?

Somebody’s gonna scoop up Scott Satterield and get a helluva coach.  He’s built a winning program at App State.  Figure he would have gone to UNC but instead they went with Mack Brown 2.0. Go figure.

That’s what I was thinking. Mack Brown was a serious curveball

Most long time NFL guys don't like to move down because of the recruiting requirements.   Going from the team"s CEO to having to recruit and kiss the ass of arrogant teenagers, and the travel involved is seen as a big time QOL downgrade.  The guys that step down to college are usually because they flamed out in the NFL.  Wisenhunt may still get a second go around in the NFL if he plays his cards as an OC right....  I think this is just people playing 5 degrees of separation....

Employing this logic, perhaps Jim Harbaugh might want to step up in QOL and remuneration by agreeing to coach a certain nearby (allegedly) professional football club that likes to wear pewter and red jammers... but I digress.

Seems like GT would be a good fit for CCS & Co. After all, GT watched our coaching staff beat up on theirs earlier this year, and as noted earlier, they’re eager to move on from the triple-option. Suckers!

There was a decent amount of chatter about CCS being in consideration up there until the team **** the bed.
