Overall turnover number was pretty good, relatively speaking, but a few did come at the worst time possible ...

so are we just sort of young and inexperienced? Or is it a general low level of talent compared to other AAC teams? I ask because the general opinion seems to be that we will not fare too well when the conference play starts.

Kicking myself for missing this past game on TV and getting a good idea what our team looks like these days.

They are mostly new to the program and just starting to play together. I think this ptogram is moving in the right direction. I honestly think we have a shot to be in one of the tournaments next year. Gregory was a homerun hire.

I agree that we look talented but mostly young, inexperienced and a little lacking in aggression. I like the progression I am seeing but it is going to be a bumpy ride.   As for Coach Gregory being a homerun, I will reserve judgment but would settle for a triple with a few runners on for a change.

Yesterday's game was on ESPN3 so it may still be there to watch ....... but it's not really a great example of what team looks like these days. Bigs played a pretty small role because of what they were up against.

This year may not be much better than last year record wise but will be a huge step in foundation building ...

I think we will struggle mightily when conference play rolls around, but that doesn't mean we are not headed in the right direction
