We met the women's golf coach, ERIKA BRENNAN, at the coaches radio show last night. She from Lake Wales and considers Tampa home. She said that this is her dream job and that it is in no way a stepping stone to anything larger. I know that could just be coach speak on all levels, but...

This got me to thinking... Softball Coach Erickson has been here forever, 22 as head coach. WBB Coach Fernandez is at 18 and counting. Cross Country Coach Dena Reif, 8 yrs. Sailing Coach Allison Jolly is at 13 yrs. Women's SOCCER Coach Denise Schilte-Brown is at 12yrs. This season will mark Warren Bye's 12th year as head coach of the University of South Florida track and field team. Volleyball Coach Courtney Draper is at 8 years.

Which brings us to the money coaches.

Also another bit of news that you will hear in the next couple of days. Sorry, I'm sworn to secrecy.

We've lost a lot of good people over the years but this one really stings.  Andrew is a great guy - brilliant, funny, dedicated and innovative. His wife is a sweetie and he is just learning to enjoy bourbon.  He always let us in on what was going on behind the scenes trusting me not to share it on here.  It was hard at times but never wanted to lose his trust.  We will miss him greatly.  But will stay in touch with him.
