I can't speak for anybody else, but my point was, GT is nothing special. Do you disagree? if so, why? Our SOS may not even be enough to get us past an undefeated Boise. Houston & UCF might be the only two potentially quality wins on our schedule. I wish I could say otherwise, but our schedule is, for the most part, just not that great.

In the end, 3 of their losses was by less than a touchdown. They only lost to #7 ranked Clemson by 2 tds. And Duke finished last year 7-6 with 4 of their 6 losses coming by a 1 touchdown or less. That same team is currently 2-0 and should be ranked if they win their game this weekend. But if you want to label them as dumpster fires then go ahead my friend.

Never said they were a dumpster fire, and they would probably be one of the top three wins for us this season. I don't think that losing 4 of their 6 games by a touchdown or less last year makes them anything special. Our game with them was great to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and it is certainly nice to have the name on our record, but I don't see GT as world beaters. It was a relief to get the W there, and I wouldn't mind if we never had to play them again. I don't like seeing option teams on the schedule..

That will be determined in the coming weeks. I just think it sucks that we are in a position to have to see GT as some kind of gigantic win. Life in the AAC I guess..

3. They beat a ranked VT

4. Game vs. UCF was canceled. 

 

Just two weeks ago some of these same people thought we'd lose to them because of their defense and run game.  lol  If we run the table, which I think we will, they will say we weren't that good and got lucky.  It's madness... they need something to be down about. They need to wash over the teams abilities.
