You have to produce runs in college baseball too.   This isn't Omaha, this is the conference tourney.

All year it has been feast or famine in terms of runs. WSU pitching just dominated today.

I think at the end of the season we can say that USF is good but they are missing quiet a few pieces. In reality our seeding in the NCAA is irrelevant...a two seed vs three seed has no impact going to Gainesville which is where we were probably heading all along.

I agree with this.  We are a good team, but we lost a couple very good arms and Merrill was a big loss.  We've had a good season and still can make some noise in this tourney and maybe shake it up some in Regionals

Meh, it's not on our field.  Not really a huge advantage.

It’s 25 minutes away. It’s about as good of an advantage as you can get for prep outside of actually hosting.

Teams are used to traveling and they get here early enough.  Not much of an advantage.  I guess sleeping in your own beds?  If they do?

Sleeping in their own beds and longer time to prep and practice in their own facility?

Like I said, they're used to traveling and those facilities are state of the art.   Minor advantage for sleeping in your own bed?
