UNLV...higher profile??

A national title contender!!   How many top-10 teams has he beaten?  Top-15?

He’s had 18 years, how close has he come to contending for the NCAA title?

You seriously think we need a coaching change? Go look up what this program was before he took it over. It never sniffed the postseason of any kind and rarely posted double-digit wins.

The dude has won 19 or more games 10 times - this year will be 11. We've been to five NCAA Tournaments - this year will be six.

He's arguably the most accomplished coach in USF history - in any sport.

Someone is going to do better? Who?

She played 34 minutes out of 40

Is that under her average? I have no idea but she seemed to be on the bench for a lot of the end of the 2nd qtr.

I don’t have to look it up,  been going to games long before Jose arrived. He’s done a good job, but has hit his ceiling, and is treading water.

Perhaps you should look up UCONN WBB and see how long it took Geno to turn them into the Champions they are today.

Finding someone better is Mark Harlan’s responsibility.  That’s what he’s paid the big $$ for.

It took Geno 13 years to win a national title with UConn.  How the heck did he last that long without being canned?

Do you have any suggestions to send his way?  I have no idea of any lower tier up and coming programs that have a better coach that CJF. We can't hire other coaches away from the top programs.  This ceiling may be as good as it gets. Like the football fans that think we have some inherent right to be great, you may be looking for something that isn't really achievable.  I'm good with a Top 25 program (more or less) year in and year out.

And we can easily argue that we'd have a satchel of conference championship trophies if we didn't play the perennial world champion in our conference 3 times a season. We may not end up 2nd in conference this year but we do it enough and that's the ceiling as long as the UCONN juggernaut exists.

He got the Huskies to the NCAAs in his 4th season, and made the the Final Four in his 6th.

In his first 18 Years he finished 1st in the Big East 13 Times.

If you're suggesting we try to steal Geno from UConn, I'm all for it ....

Brilliant!!  Let's get Saben from Alabama and Coach K from Duke while we're at it.

I am 100% okay with the Women making it to the post season (NCAA and NIT) every year. Also, if you are in the NCAA tournament, you are competing for a title.

Low expectations!

Realistic expectations .... maybe not even that if you don't expect a down year occasionally.

I would argue that we had a chance Courtney's last season here. We certainly were much more competitive then. The team just doesn't have "it" this season. College basketball is the one sport where just one player can make all the difference.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
