Hey FSU.... welcome to modern day college football! 

FSU hasn't hired a coach since 1976! They are probably tripping over themselves trying to figure this out. 

They lost their coach because they  refused to keep up with the Jones' with their Bobby Bowden era facilities. 

They went from Bobby Bowden to Jimbo Fisher.... from 1976 to 2017 without ever firing or hiring a coach! 

FSU may soon be relegated to the recent Fate of the Gators or Miami who have been through numerous coaches in their quest for a return to dominance. 

Maybe they get Taggart and he turns out to be a home run but look around right now no one stands out that is nearly the resume of Fisher. 

Time for FSU to join the 21st century and spend big to upgrade those Bowden era facilities and coaching contract to maintain relevancy.

I realize you're an Aggie homer so you need to do a little research on FSU's facilities ...

Source: #UCF is engaged in discussions with former Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin. He’s their top target to succeed Scott Frost. No agreement has been reached, but talks are ongoing.

Report: Kevin Sumlin is the top candidate for UCF job, could be named coach today
 

Last Sunday, Kevin Sumlin was fired from Texas A&M. This Sunday, he could reportedly be introduced as the next coach at UCF.

According to a report from Ryan Bass of 247Sports, Sumlin has been the top candidate to replace Scott Frost for a while, as it had been a forgone conclusion that he would leave for the Nebraska job, which he officially did after UCF beat Memphis to win the AAC Championship.

And according to Bass, the decision from UCF could come down today.

C'mon their head coach left them and said this earlier in the year:

"We haven’t done anything for a long time here,” Fisher said, according to the Tallahassee Democrat. “We did when we first got here. We made a few little adjustments. Since then we really haven’t. We’ve got to get caught up in that area."

 

I saw it says they built a $15 million dollar indoor practice feild and spent like $5 million somewhere else.

Can we not poke fun at other FL programs here? I love seeing the Gators and Noles struggling to make a bowl.

Hey, And now even USF is raising money for $40 million in facilities upgrades.

Sumlin was the obvious choice from the get go.  Won't be much of a drop off next year for them
