Current or past?

Current of course. I want to know where he is writing given his ability to write things people would like to read, he must be at the New York Times or somewhere extremely prestigious.

I can't speak to the quality of his work, but his job is to get clicks.  They get clicks right now, it's a no-brainer.

Or, and this is just me spit-balling, he could just keep collecting his paycheck from ESPN and put stuff on the interwebs. He gets paid AND he keeps his name in the news so when his ESPN contract us up, he slides right over to his next gig. Win--win.

He has slid to his next gig based on his Meyer notoriety, it’s just unremarkable.

Yet he’s getting paid and you’re here remarking on his work.

I found it on his Linked in after I alluded to him being unemployed. It’s remarkable enough that 10 minutes later I don’t recall what it was I saw.

I hear you. That Urban Meyer stuff he was working on never really took off the way he would have hoped. If he’d have been employed, I bet a few people would have read it.

Oh it did, just didn’t appear to benefit him much. That’s the problem with trying to build yourself up by tearing others down, you establish why they are bad but that doesn’t necessarily translate to you being good.
