I know many here are rooting for a ranked Memphis.

Whether it is logical or not, I'm rooting for Houston.

I think it will help the attendance for our game with them.

I also think it will help our SOS.

Last, but not least, is that it hurts the SOS for UCF. LOL

I too am pulling for Houston I do not want to be playing them while they’re looking to prevent a 3 game losing streak.

SDSU's loss may not make as critical for Memphis to be ranked but still kind of torn with this game ...

Memphis just sucks. They could have two blow out games on their resume. Their offense line is really poor too.

I agree with you for all the reasons you stated. A 5-2 Houston team is definitely a lot easier to get excited for.
