However, right now SDSU SOS is #21 and USF SOS is #126. (That was before Temple lost).

True, they will play a much easier schedule the rest of the way, but will still have a much better SOS in the end.

Also, remember, they will play one more game than USF.

If Colorado State wins out and they are ranked when SDSU plays them, it could be a closer call for the Peach Bowl.

Absolutely. What happens on Black Friday will be the difference between us being in an NY6 bowl, or playing FIU in the St. Pete Bowl. What happens with Temple, or ECU, or SJSU, etc.... has no bearing on anything.

It's still early.

Did you watch our game with Navy last year?

We were up by about 40 points right away and they wore us down in the 2nd half and almost won.
