Well put. I think people have the expectation of 2007 attendance. It’s not going to happen any time soon. Yes, that does have everything to do with who we played. We need to start averaging 35-40. I think that’s realistic and I think that will help build more hype. We need more tradition as a program, and going year after year without so much as a conference title does nothing to help.

We need to build an ocs that holds 40 to 45k. I used to like Ray Jay, but now realize it kills the gameday atmosphere. We won't see 2007 attendance in this conference.

IMO, the game day atmosphere is what you want to make of it and focus on ....

And I've got no problem at all with CCS complaining about attendance considering I feel the same way. He's complaining about those not there so not sure how it's a slap in the face to me.

Complaining about people not there doesn't make sense to me. It's like a restaurant complaining to their patrons about not having enough customers...maybe what you're offering isn't what people want. I know we all love USF, but there are a lot of areas they can improve upon. IMO an ocs that holds 45k or so would have a better atmosphere. There is something about being on a college campus.

One of the biggest problems this year is our crappy home schedule. We have our best team ever and one of the worst home schedules we have had. Not having ucf, FSU or any ooc teams people care about hurts a lot.
