Even though UNLV is not on the same level as NIU or Boise, they could catch SDSU overlooking them. This game falls in between NIU at home and Boise at home, so it has trap game written all over it.

I just find it interesting how quickly the AP had a hard-on for ucf. I mean we were rolling people in the top 25  last year and it took us till 9 week before we squeaked in at 25. Now people are projecting them over us with three wins? Come on man.

None of this matters. I don't care if UCF is #1 in the country...we still get to play them on Black Friday...a win against a higher ranked UCF team makes us look better on paper and we need that. A win against a ranked Navy team or Houston team in the CCG helps even more..we just need to not lose up to that UCF game and then we will possibly get 2 chance to take down ranked teams...that's exactly what we want to boost our crappy SOS and solidify ourselves as the best group of 5. Ignore the moving parts around us and stay the course. Win out and we'll be fine!

Even though they lost to USCe, I think you're probably right.  Luckily UL should fall below us and it's a wash.
