Looks like SDSU will win another one. I still don't think they are that good. They'd lose to the top 4 or 5 in the aac.

They've pulled out a number of close games.

Boise could give them a problem at home next week,

Utah scores TD.

Onside kick, but Stanford gets it.

Stanford wins: 23-20

Man, UNLV was terrible; they couldn't tackle worth anything. And it didn't seem like they had any sort of offensive plan. Good QB but he was misused.

Anyway, SDSU is not bad but let's see how they do against Biose State. That game is followed by Fresno State, whose two losses are Alabama and Washington.

Not to be a ****, but SDSU went 11-3 last year with a bowl win over a Houston. They beat a really good Stanford team. They're pretty good, and would challenge us (and UCF and Navy) for the AAC title

They seem pretty good to me as well.  I think they are smaller than most of AAC teams, and slower than some of the better ones.  From what I've seen I think USF/UCF would probably crush them.   The slate of quality opponents would wear them down imo.  Even if they got a win against one of the better teams in the conf there's only a few teams in the league as bad as UNLV or some of the other teams that play on their schedule.  Their lack of depth would show through and they would get ground away.

Any undefeated  AAC team at the end of this season should be ranked higher than SDSU..   That would be unjust.! The argument would be a 12-1 AAC Team against an undefeated Mountain West team. This year I dont think that there is any quality in the conference after SDSU.

You sound like a SEC fan. If SDSU runs the table with their out of conference wins over Stanford, a middling Arizona state,  and potential MAC champ in NIU along conference wins over Boise state and New Mexico they'll have a very strong argument.

It's early, but our out of conference could screw us in that scenario

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
