Does anyone think that those who are voting do not realize that this team is 14-2 over the last 16 games (with a bowl win over an SEC opponent and we have almost everyone back) with our only 2 losses

Of course we want them to win. Any OOC victory by an AAC team helps the conference as a whole, and increases our SOS.

Why does what this team did last year with Mack, Adams, and a different head coach mean we should be ranked this year?

What we did last year probably was a factor in the preseason ranking this year I guess, although I'm not crazy about preseason rankings. I think 20-25 is fair. Look forward to seeing us against decent competition to gauge how good this team is, but when does that happen?

Exactly. I'm not saying we shouldn't be ranked, but I don't get why what we did last year means anything right now. We finished the year #19. Since then, we've lost xCWT, Mack, and Adams and added a head coach that went 16-21 at his last stop. Then to kick off 2017, we looked ok against probably the worst team in FBS football, looked about the same against a bottom feeder FCS team, and then looked very solid against probably the second worst team in FBS football. I'll take #21 at this point.

They should wait until week 4 to release rankings.

I can assure you that ucf beating Maryland will have 0 impact on us. I hope they lose by 100.

Screw ucf...I stand by my prior statements: I will never hope that they will win...EVER. May they spend their lives in football purgatory with their aluminum stadium.

I love how we have a game postponed and drop in the rankings. Meanwhile, Miami has a game postponed and raises a few spots. Cool.
