There is no way Kingston called for a bunt there...if he did he is awful.  Merrell is obsessed with burning and he should never do it in a run producing situation.  He has been hurting us more than helping us lately.

I would like to think that Kingston called for the bunt, since he came out to talk to Merrell right before the AB

I just don't see the need to burn the AB by your best hitter with runners on the corners and 1 out.

Merrell has a less than 40% chance of getting a hit. A bunt is a free run if you put it down.
